Charlie Hunnam is definitely one of the pickiest actors in the business, having a long history of turning down roles in certain projects. After all, the "Sons of Anarchy" star had famously bowed out from "Fifty Shades of Grey", which could have been a real career-changing opportunity. Now Hunnam has confirmed that he has no interest in playing Oliver Queen although the star of "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" is the current fan favorite for Green Arrow in a possible DC Extended Universe film.

Yahoo Movies recently interviewed Charlie Hunnam, where he was asked whether he would take on the role as Green Arrow for a possible DCEU flick. The "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" actor had a surprising response, admitting that he "didn't grow up a comic book fan" and that he has never watched comic book films.

"It’s just not really my taste," Charlie Hunnam stated before confessing he does not know who Green Arrow is. The "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" star then said that being a part of the DCEU family is "not part of my vision for my career or what I aspire to." Unfortunately, this confirms that the actor will not be playing Oliver Queen anytime soon.

Charlie Hunnam's statement about Green Arrow immediately drew ire from Oliver Queen fans. The comments on ComicBookMovie's report had people comparing his future performance as the monarch of lore in "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword". However, most agreed that Hunnam was entitled to his own opinion and that it wasn't a big deal if he has no plans on being a part of future DCEU flicks.

Green Arrow might not be a role Charlie Hunnam is eager to play, but he certainly enjoyed playing a father in "The Lost City of Z". A YouTube interview reveals that Hunnam considers it an honor to portray Tom Holland's dad in the movie.
