Aidan Turner 2017: 'Poldark' Season 3 Star Speaks Up About Sexy Shirtless Ross Scene, Says Nakedness Not "A Big Deal"

Aidan Turner might have no problem shedding his clothes on TV but he certainly doesn't want everyone making "a big deal" out of it. The "Poldark" Season 3 star recently spoke up about the sexy scene from Series 1 where Ross Poldark peels off his shirt and does some sweaty farming. As it turns out, Turner is sick of hearing about how this particular scene was declared the most memorable moment in TV in 2015.

The "Poldark" Season 3 star was a guest on the David Fanning Show on RTE Radio 2, where he discussed his film "The Secret Scripture", as per Poldarked. In addition to that, Aidan Turner talked about the infamous Series 1 scene that became the most memorable moment on British TV in 2015. Not surprisingly, the former "The Hobbit" actor admitted he is "a little bit" tired of all the attention, stating that "it was never a big deal." Turner went on to explain that he never thought much about the scene, since it made sense for Ross Poldark to go scything shirtless since he's a farmer and it was supposedly summer.

Ross Poldark's steamy scything scene may have been the most awesome moment in 2015, but there is a possibility that it won't be the last for the BBC show. CeleBeat has previously reported that "Poldark" Season 3 could feature another sexy scene with a shirtless Aidan Turner. After all, Series 2 also won the most memorable British TV moment of 2016 with a sensuous scene where Eleanor Tomlinson's Demelza gave Ross a bath.

The "Poldark" Season 3 air date has not yet been announced but Aidan Turner has another project to look forward to. "The Secret Scripture" is based on Sebastian Barry's novel and also stars Rooney Mara, Theo James, Eric Bana, Jack Reynor as well as Vanessa Redgrave. The film is set to premiere in UK and Ireland on May 19.
