The final 10 episodes of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 might still be a few months away but interest has been reinvigorated, thanks to Holland Roden. The actress has just offered some interesting details that awesome kiss between Stiles and Lydia in the MTV show's recent winter finale. In addition to that, Roden has revealed that Dylan O'Brien was responsible for the creation of "Stydia" in the beloved series.

Holland Roden recently made an appearance at the Showtime Con 2 in Madrid, where the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star was asked about Lydia's relationship with Stiles. One of the most interesting revelations from Roden was the fact that Dylan O'Brien somehow created the whole Stydia thing, as per Twitter. According to the actress, the "Maze Runner 3" actor had improvised one of their scenes together by suddenly kissing her on the cheek. The scene has since led to several fans shipping Stiles and Lydia throughout the show's history.

So it looks like Stydia shippers will need to thank Dylan O'Brien for making things happen. After all, one of the most awesome moments in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Episode 10 was the kiss Stiles and Lydia shared when he was finally brought back from the void. But how many kisses did it take to get the best shot? Holland Roden shared that she had to kiss O'Brien around 12 times for the perfect Stydia kiss (via YouTube).

It is still uncertain whether Dylan O'Brien will return as Stiles in the last 10 episodes of the final season. Although Stydia may be over, fans can still expect to see Holland Roden as Lydia in the back half of "Teen Wolf" Season 6, which is set to air on MTV this summer.
