Liam Payne, Cheryl Cole Baby News Rumors: One Direction Star Reportedly Not Cheryl's Baby Daddy

Numerous One Direction fans have taken up another conspiracy theory concerning Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole’s first-born child. Many have suggested that the former boy band member is not the father of the baby.

Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole have been dating for over a year and announced last weekend that they have welcomed a healthy baby boy. There have been no doubts that the child is Cheryl’s; during her pregnancy, she was photographed several times with her huge baby bump. However, despite Liam’s commitment to the relationship, some have questioned whether the former One Direction star is the baby’s real father.

A One Direction fan shared her sentiments over Twitter, saying: “I think that baby is Cheryl’s baby but not Liam’s.” According to Unreality TV, some fans have also suggested that it is not Liam Payne’s baby but of Jean Bernard Fernandez Versini- Cheryl Cole’s ex-husband. Others are also speculating that Liam and Cheryl opted to use a sperm donor’s services. “I’m not sure if that baby is actually Liam’s or Cheryl’s ex but idc [I don’t care] Liam is happy and that’s all that matters,” another user tweeted.

The former One Direction member already took to Twitter to break his silence; the “History” hitmaker expressed his thanks to all their fans for their supportive messages, as reported by Billboard. Despite all the baby news announcements, Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole have not yet decided on a name for their little one. Nonetheless, two names are reportedly the frontrunners in the couple’s baby name list- Alfie and Taylor.

While “The X-Factor” judge previously pointed out that she liked the name Alfie if she had a son, the One Direction star said, in a separate interview, that he thought of going for Taylor if he had a child. “Taylor's pretty neutral for a boy or a girl. That's what I'm going to call my first child if I had children,” Liam Payne said.
