Katy Perry and John Mayer have been in an on-again, off-again relationship until they both called it quits in 2014. While the "Gravity" singer recently confessed to dedicating a new song to his ex-girlfriend, a recent report suggests that the "Chained to the Rhythm" singer has already moved on to another lover, Ryan Phillippe.

John Mayer and Katy Perry have broken up for years, but it looks like one of them is still reeling over their relationship. In a recent interview with NY Times, the 39-year-old singer admitted that one of his new singles is about his ex-girlfriend, Perry.

"It's a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years," he explained. "That was my only relationship."

Mayer admitted that the first songs on his new album were breakup songs, he realized that the album was "more profound" than just being one. He also admitted that he is currently on a dating app to meet new people, but he has not yet been lucky finding someone he wants to commit to.

While Mayer has been busy writing new songs and finding new love, Perry appears to have already moved on from him and her latest ex-boyfriend, Orlando Bloom. According to Hollywood Life, Perry was recently spotted flirting with Ryan Phillippe.

An insider told the publication that the "Roar" singer was "flirting" with the actor during the 70th birthday of Sir Elton John. The source shared that Perry and Phillippe were seen giggling together and at one point during their conversation, Phillippe had his hand on Perry's knee.
