Fans are dying to see "Rick and Morty" in the small screens again but the series creators appear to have a way of breaking the everyone's heart. The critically acclaimed animated science fiction series has apparently soared high in the small screens with critics saying that its humor felt totally original. Its animation has been praised as it produced fresh, vibrant and as humorous as the script. Thus, earning millions of audiences since its first release in December 2013.

When creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon announced that they don't have a release date for "Rick and Morty" season 3, fans got disappointed. Now, IMDb's page has listed the third season's first episode to air on April 24 with 14 episodes. Creators have previously revealed that there will be 14 episodes in the upcoming installment. It is important to note, though, that Adult Swim has not officially confirmed the release date of the next installment.

Additionally, the casting or the plot details are not included in the listing. This isn't the first time that IMDb posted a release date of "Rick and Morty" season 3. Earlier this year, the site listed that the new installment of the popular animated series would premiere on Jan. 9. However, Justin Roiland ruled out this information.

"I'm so sorry. I don't have a release date for season three. It's not that I know it and I'm not allowed to say it; it's [Adult Swim's] domain. What I will tell you is it's late because of us, it's late because of me," Dan Harmon said in an interview with Indiewire. Harmon also told Den of Geek that they hired new writers to help them. One of "Rick and Morty" writers Mike McMahan also confirmed on Twitter that they are already working on the voice-over process.

McMahan also posted a script of "Rick and Morty" season 3 to prove that the writing stage is finished. Nonetheless, these developments that the showrunners have been updating all fans only prove that everyone will eventually get to see the cynical mad scientist Rick and his grandson Morty in no time.
