"One Piece" manga is currently in one of its most thrilling arcs as Luffy and his team is gearing up to assassinate Big Mom. But the latest news surrounding Eiichiro Oda's hit story revealed that the manga's end is reportedly in sight. Fans need not worry though because its anime counterpart still has a long way to go as it gears up to begin the Whole Cake Island arc this month.

"One Piece" manga, according to an earlier report by Celebeat, is near completion. Reports claimed that there's only around 20 to 30 percent remaining story to be told. Additionally, the current arc dubbed as Big Mom's arc is halfway through with only about 20 to 25 chapters to go.

As "One Piece" manga prepares to tell the remaining storyline, its official website released the visuals for the Whole Cake Island arc for the anime. As per a report by Anime News Network, the new storyline will tell the adventures of Luffy and his friends from chapter 783 of the manga. Some of the casts revealed are Reiju, Ichiji, Ninji and Yonji.

"One Piece" manga Whole Cake Island arc is mostly focused on Luffy's quest to stop his friend Sanji from marrying Lady Pudding. The anime episodes will reportedly see the Vinsmoke falling in love with the Yonkou after seeing the latter's picture. Believing that it's against Sanji's will to marry Pudding, the Straw Hat Pirates will be determined to rescue their teammate.

One of the highlights of this "One Piece" manga arc is the revelation of Lady Pudding's dark plan against the Vinsmoke family. Upon learning the Yonkou's plot, Luffy, Sanji and some returning characters designed a Big Mom Assassination plan. What remains to be seen is whether they can execute the plan flawlessly and successfully.

"One Piece" manga is now on its 861st chapter but it's taking another hiatus. That said, there will be no release this week. But fans should expect the beginning of the anime's new arc on April 9.
