Naya Rivera, David Spade Are Couple; 'Glee' Actress Dates A Former 'Saturday Nigh Live' Cast Surprises Fans

The news about Naya Rivera and David Spade are currently dating was first considered to be a prank on April Fool's day. However, the two are confirmed to be in a relationship.

The news broke out when Entertainment Tonight acquired their photo showing a public display of affection in Hawaii on Thursday, March 30. The new lovebirds were seen to cuddle in the pool at the Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii. Among Rivera and Spade, fellow comedians Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider were also staying in the hotel for their performance at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on Saturday.

An eyewitness told how Rivera and Spade tried to be cautious. They swam for a while and took a certain side of the pool to keep them from being watched. "They kept to one side of the pool where there was the most covering from prying eyes."

Afterward, they sat on the poolside and talked for about an hour. Rivera and Spade were also spotted to eat at the Duke Restaurant in Waikiki, and they both look very casual.

The 30-year-old actress was married to actor Ryan Dorsey from 2014 to 2016. They had one son Josey Hollis Dorsey, who was born in September 2015. While the 52-year-old comedian has an 8-year-old daughter Harper Spade who was born in August 2008 from his relationship with 2005 Playboy Playmate of the Month Gillian Grace. However both Rivera and Spade have not confirmed their relationship.

In regard to the rumor, Us Weekly has received confirmation regarding their status to be dating. Rivera and Spade are reported to start seeing each other for only a few weeks.

Rivera is known for her acting in "Glee" as Santana Lopez since 2009 until the end of the musical drama in 2015. She also released a single titled "Sorry" in 2013 featuring her then-boyfriend rapper Big Sean. While Spade is a well-known comedian in "Saturday Night Live" for seven years from 1990 to 1996.
