Fans were obviously upset when the streaming of "Limitless" has been cut short. However, they were given hope at first when CBS shared that they were shopping the second season to other major outlets. Unfortunately, Amazon and Netflix did not seem to agree with the rest of the viewers. It was previously reported that the mysterious drug on the show, NZT, is just too controversial that the outlets opted to pass on "Limitless" season 2.

Although it has been reported and confirmed multiple times that "Limitless" has already reached its limit, fans just can't seem to accept the cancellation of the CBS show. Despite the demands of "Limitless" season 2, the comedy-drama television series was not given the chance like the other renewed shows.

One fan expressed his disappointment after learning that "Limitless" season 2 will never happen. "Why did they do that? We all loved the series. I can't [believe] what i'm reading Is there hope for "limitless,'" the fan asks in the previous "Limitless" season 2 report.

Supporters of the show have been desperate to bring "Limitless" back. One fan even went on to start a "Limitless" season 2 online petition which garnered a lot of support from viewers who are still hopeful for the possibility of a sequel.

Even before the rumors that "Limitless" was being shopped around for a new home, it was already obvious that there will be no sequel for the in-demand yet controversial show. CBS already revealed its fall schedule and "Limitless" Season 2 was nowhere to be found, giving fans the heads up to not expect a season 2 from the show.

With "Supergirl" being renewed at CBS sister company, The CW, many "Limitless" fans were hoping that the show will have that same chance as well. Unfortunately, even with the high demand, "Limitless" season 2 is officially dropped.
