'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Spoilers: More Details of Episode 2 Revealed; VR Experience Gets a 4/20 Debut

Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland's "Rick and Morty" received a worldwide critical acclaim with critics complimenting the showrunners efforts to give each character a bit of depth. Its clean and simple style is one of the reasons why all fans were dying to see the animated science fiction again. To everyone's surprise, its third season premiered unannounced on April Fool's Day and episode 2's release date was announced to air this summer.

Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have both expressed their desire of having "Rick and Morty" in the small screens once again. They even revealed that they have hired more writers to help them helm season 3. One of its writers also posted a portion of the show's script, proving that they are working hard on it. Little did fans know that the showrunners had something up their sleeves when they surprised fans on April 1.

"Rick and Morty" season 3 episode 1 titled "The Rickshank Redemption" basically picked up the storylines that were not shown in season 2. However, in a thread on Reddit, it focused on Rick fleeing from prison although some fans did not actually agree with it as there were several angles introduced in the episode. Following the episode's airing, the show's official Twitter account stated "A Pickle Will Rise," leaving fans more thrilled with what the show has in store for them.

Fans asked the showrunners to provide more details about "Rick and Morty" season 3 episode 2, which is titled "Rickmancing The Stone." The producers responded through their next Twitter post revealing that the next episode is about the fallout of episode 1. It can be recalled when Morty and Summer needed to bring the Council of Ricks back and this will have an important role in episode 2.

Meanwhile, IGN reports that Adult Swim Games and Owlchemy Labs has finally announced that "Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality," the show's virtual reality experience gets a debut on April 20. At San Diego Comic-Con, the game was previewed putting fans in a Morty clone. Fans will be able to explore Rick's garage, lab and home.
