He might be mentally disabled but he has an incredible physical strength and can carry Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) in long distance without signs of fatigue. The Starks set him to work as a stable boy at Winterfell, something that gives justice to his capacity as a simple-minded person. Wylis, or best known as Hodor has appeared in 23 episodes in the HBO series but broke everyone's heart when he died from saving Meera (Ellie Kendrick) and Bran. Now, fans have somewhat rejoiced when Hodor was showcased in "Game of Thrones" season 7 trailer.

HBO released a new clip for "Game of Thrones" season 7 last weekend introducing its entire cast, where Hodor (Kristian Nairn) was oddly included. The video has also dropped some spoilers of the upcoming season including the characters' in Westeros sporting their new costumes. The three living Stark children such as Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Sansa Start (Sophie Turner) and Bran Stark are seen in their Winterfell furs.

Express suggests that they might be reunited in "Game of Thrones" season 7, not to mention that their loyal servant Hodor might make a comeback. Fans might get confused why Hodor was showcased in the new clip when he already died in season 6. The gentle giant blocked the White Walkers, giving enough time for Meera to flee with the unconscious Bran.

Some fans say that Hodor might just make a cameo as a flashback in "Game of Thrones" season 7 but this doesn't stop others getting hyped upon seeing him in the trailer. Although he doesn't actually talk until "Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things," fans learned to love him for his loyalty to the Starks. He can only say one word, which is "Hodor" that later made everyone call him.

Technically, it means "Hold the Door" - these are the words that he heard when he suffered a seizure, making him mentally disabled. Since then, he lacks initiative and is slow of wits but remains gentle and a loyal servant to the Starks. For now, fans can only content themselves with speculations that Hodor might make a comeback in "Game of Thrones" season 7.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 returns July 16 at 9 PM ET on HBO. Let us know your thoughts about Hodor's possible comeback to the series and drop your comments below!
