Orlando Bloom and Nina Dobrev are reportedly dating but are determined to keep things under wraps. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star seems to be enjoying his 'single and ready to mingle' status right now after his recent breakup with pop superstar Katy Perry.

Orlando Bloom and "The Vampire Diaries" alum have known each other for quite some time. A source told PEOPLE that the two have been dating although it's super casual. The two were spotted during the Coachella party on Friday and the Neon Carnival the following day. The same source told the mag that the "Lord of the Rings" actor was really into model Ashley Haas even if Dobrev was merely 15 feet away. This only goes to show that the two aren't really that serious (yet).

In an interview with ELLE UK for May, Orlando Bloom reveals he and ex Katy Perry has remained friends despite the breakup. The 40-year old actor describes themselves as grownups and that all's good between the two of them. Perry's very visible these days while nobody seems to care what he's up to. He also said that it's better to set a good example for kids to let them know that breakups needn't be about hate.

Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev, just like Orlando Bloom believes exes can genuinely be friends. The 28-year-old actress even shared a photo online with ex-boyfriend and series co-star Ian Somerhalder and wife Nikki Reed during their dinner date last February. This amidst rumors that Dobrev and Somerhalder hate each other's guts and can't stand being on the set with him. These spawned rumors that Nina never wanted to go back for the final season of "The Vampire Diaries". Thus, their happy threesome pic finally put the issue to rest.
