"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller's controversial exit from the dance reality series has been one of the hot topics among fans of the show. Miller said that the showrunners have mistreated and disrespected her during her time in the show. Cheryl Burke was tapped as the new lead choreographer. However, most fans are still waiting for an official announcement if the show will ever have another season - not until one of its producers posted on his social media.

Most of "Dance Moms" cast and dancers have already left the show. Some rallied behind Miller and others chose to quit instead. Because of this, the show's fate becomes questionable in the past weeks but one of its producers has hinted about a possible new season of the series. On his Twitter account, producer Bryan Stinson wrote that season 7 was great and is looking forward to a great and exciting season 8.

"That's a wrap on season 7. 208 hours of "Dance Moms" programming. Season 7 was heaven. Season 8 will be gr8t," Stinson wrote. Many fans were surprised with Stinson's post, especially that season 7 was packed with controversy about its former lead choreographer as well as the other dancers. Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak have also expressed their feelings about Miller, saying that working with her was extremely stressful.

Cheryl Burke, on the other hand, recently enraged some "Dance Moms" fans about her Instagram post with a hashtag saying that winners don't quit. For some fans, she is obviously targeting Miller, who left the series expressing her disappointments about the producers. However, Burke is not yet totally committed to the Lifetime series and her role in season 8 remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Miller is still awaiting the verdict of her fraud case for hiding $775,000 of her income from "Dance Moms" and her other projects. Because of this, it is uncertain if she could still return to the series in spite of her recent departure. Many fans are still hoping to see her in the show and the producers recently said that their doors are open for Miller in the event that she wants to return.
