Eminem has not released a new album since 2013, but the 44-year-old rapper previously promised his fans that he is working on a new album. As his fans are eagerly anticipating for the release of the "Slim Shady" rapper's new record, his manager, Paul Rosenberg recently shared a photo, which sparked speculations about the album's release date.

Eminem is expected to be releasing a new album this 2017, as the "Rap God" rapper previously confirmed that he is working on an album via a Twitter post. As Rap-Up notes, Eminem released "Campaign Speech" along with the assurance that he is working on releasing a new record since his last one, "The Marshall Mathers LP II" was released in 2013.

Eminem's manager, Paul Roseberg, has also fuelled speculations regarding the release date of Eminem's new album after posting a photo with the "Lose Yourself" rapper. According to the outlet, Rosenberg's caption was taken as a hint about the rapper's new album and the writing on Eminem's palm was believed to be the release date of the album.

Unfortunately, the date believed to be written on Eminem's palm has already passed and the "Stan" rapper has not yet dropped a new record on the market. It is also unlikely for Eminem to release a new album at the same time as Kendrick Lamar, who recently released "DAMN."

The release of Lamar's album is even sparking some debate with Eminem fans on Twitter, reports HotNewHipHop. The debate began after radio personality Peter Rosenberg called Lamar as the "best rapper who's ever lived" and compared him to Eminem.

Some fans took Peter's response in offence and slammed him for comparing Lamar to Eminem. Others, however, believe that people should not be comparing both rappers since they have different styles.
