Priyanka Chopra has taken a break from filming in the US and flown back to India but there appears to be another important reason why the "Baywatch" actress has left Hollywood. There are speculations that the "Quantico" Season 2 wants to focus on one particular Bollywood project that will tell the story of late astronaut Kalpana Chawla. But does this mean that the end is near for Chopra's ABC series? Will Alex Parrish leave the CIA in the upcoming season finale?

Things were getting interesting (and somehow confusing) for Priyanka Chopra in "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 19. In "Mhorder", Alex Parrish and Owen Hall decided that Alex should accept Maxwell Fletcher's offer, as per Entertainment Weekly. The goodbyes between the two were decidedly tense and fans continue to wonder what would happen to Alex as she joins Maxwell. With the finale coming within the next month, is it possible that Alex will decide to call it quits so Chopra can focus on other projects?

According to FilmFare, Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed for the lead role in the biographical movie about NASA astronaut Kalpana Chawla. The film will be directed by Priya Mishra, who reportedly stated that the biopic has been in the works "for the past 7 years" and has finally found "a new production banner." The casting of Chopra is truly exciting, as fans believe that the "Baywatch" actress will turn in an inspired performance as the first Indian female astronaut in space. However, some are also concerned that this would mean Alex Parrish will not return after the "Quantico" Season 2 finale.

Could Alex Parrish's story end in "Quantico" Season 2? Fans are certainly hoping that Priyanka Chopra will continue working on the ABC series although the show has not yet been renewed for a third season. In the meantime, Chopra is set to appear alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in "Baywatch", which is scheduled for release on May 26.
