Now, it seems like their shippers are going to have a squeal-worthy moment as a new report claims that the "Outlander" season 3 co-stars have been getting a little flirty with each other on set.

Celeb Dirty Laundry suggests that Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe may have already taken their working relationship to the next level. The site revealed that the "Outlander" season 3 co-stars were caught hooking up on the set.

“Sam and Caitriona were taking a short break between scenes when I saw them off to the side, holding hands and Sam was even whispering in her ear," an insider told the site. "She was laughing at whatever he said and well, they looked like an ordinary couple,” the source added. 

Although fans' gesture of shipping Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe was seemingly harmless, it did get to a point of cyber-bullying. Mackenzie Mauzy was rumored to be the "Outlander" season 3 actor's real-life girlfriend, which fans are clearly not happy about.

So when the 28-year-old "Into The Woods" actress posted a photo of her and Sam Heughan together, fans were in beast mode and attacked Mackenzie Mauzy online. Fed up with the nonsense, the "Outlander" season 3 actor broke his silence and took to Twitter to address the issue once and for all.

"Shameful behaviour by many on social media recently," Sam Heughan tweeted. "It's disgusting and needs to stop. Spineless bullying. Stop. Now."
