'One Piece' Chapters 864 - 865: The Vinsmokes in Danger; Big Mom Gets Assassinated

"One Piece" chapter 863 finally featured Big Mom's assassination plot through the efforts of Luffy D. Monkey with the Straw Hat Pirates and the Capone Bege. The Yonkou was enraged upon learning the Luffy's doppelganger attacks when Brulee was forced to turn several animals to create him hundreds of clones. Sanji Vinsmoke and Charlotte Pudding's wedding didn't go as planned when the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates set off the assassination. However, chapter 864 sees the Vinsmokes in danger at the hands of the Charlotte's henchmen and chapter 865 spoilers suggest that Big Mom would meet her end.

In a thread on Reddit, "One Piece" chapter 864 sees an action-packed adventure with many ill-fated incidents happening, leaving Big Mom to be more furious. A failed wedding, Jinbei's fake loyalty and Mother Caramel's portrait being destroyed courtesy of Brook, Big Mom has all the reasons to be enraged. When Brook came out as the one responsible for using a hammer to destroy the portrait, the Yonkou realize that Luffy is the brainchild of these plans.

Big Mom attempts to counterattack in "One Piece" chapter 864 with the Vinsmokes at gunpoint and Lady Pudding tries to face-off with Sanji. Daifuku, Sanji's brother will take over the battle. Meanwhile, Bege is the head of the security but is apparently part of the Yonkou's assassination plot and tries to distract her by pretending to capture the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates.

"One Piece" chapter 864 sees Bege trying to provoke Big Mom for her to scream and eventually get weak, which will give the Straw Hat Pirates more chances to defeat her. Bege reminds the Yonkou about Mother Caramel's broken portrait for her to get more furious and scream. It is said that once she screams, people around her will get killed but this makes her weak as well.

Big Mom's scream is said to cause her to bleed and her skin to turn weak. In a YouTube video, "One Piece" chapter 865 sees the Yonkou being defeated and the Straw Hat Pirates' victory against her. Experts also believe that her entire island will be destroyed.
