"Girl Meets World" Season 4 is no longer happening, as the "Boy Meets World" sequel failed to secure a new home after Disney Channel cancelled the series. While this is truly a heartbreaking news to the show's loyal viewers, the cast recently reunited at the 2017 RDMA.

"Girl Meets World" Season 4 renewal updates reveal that series creator Michael Jacobs was not able to find a new home for the show since Disney Channel ended the series with an episode titled "Girl Meets Goodbye." The announcement was made via the writers' Twitter account, reports Deadline.

Aside from the announcement on the "Girl Meets World" Season 4 cancellation, the account also shared what might have been if another network decided to renew the series. According to the creator, the fourth season of GMW would have shown that friendship is what brought Lucas, Farkle and Zay to Riley and Maya.

"Girl Meets World" Season 4 would have also shown that Auggie and Ava will stick through it all until the end of time. While it would have been exciting to hear what would have happened to the characters, many fans were distraught by the news on the show's cancellation.

Despite this heartbreaking news, the "Girl Meets World" cast recently had a mini reunion at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards, according to M Magazine. Sabrina Carpenter and Corey Fogelmanis shared a photo and clip of themselves on their social media accounts.

This brought out all the "Girl Meets World" Season 3 feels that fans have been holding onto. Many thought that the show would get renewed on another network given the amount of love and support that it has from viewers.
