One's superhero parody webcomic "One Punch Man" has been one of the most best-selling manga in history and was nominated for several manga awards in the previous years since it started its publication in 2009. An anime adaptation began airing in Japan in October until December 2015 and later in 2016, a second season was announced. It follows the story of Saitama, a superhero who is extremely overpowered and has been looking for an opponent that deserves his power. Since the anime's season 2 announcement, there have been numerous theories surfaced online and one claims that the superhero would still be more powerful than the others.

Other "One Punch Man" fans suggest that the bald hero won't be facing off with the villain Garou. However, in a thread on Reddit, some experts claim that the villain will make an appearance at the season 2 finale. It is expected that season 2 will showcase more of the S-Class fighters in the Hero Association and some fans think that the King, the league's seventh member would be the villain in the new installment.

The showrunners remain tight-lipped about the details of "One Punch Man" season 2 but there have been reports that its production has started in March 2017. In the promo, fans were treated with a black-and-white image of Saitama that was captioned confirming that the production is already in the works. Theories have it that the second season will premiere in November but other fans have argued that it wouldn't be possible as there have been no words coming from Madhouse or the anime's cast.

According to Comic Book, if the production of "One Punch Man" has entered in March, the timeline could be exact that season 2 might debut in spring or summer 2018. Meanwhile, some theories also claim that Garou would be stronger than Saitama. Others suggest that Bang and Watchman Dog will be introduced as villains in the upcoming installment.

A "One Punch Man" expert explained Saitama's power to stop the rain. It was explained that when the hero throws his powerful punch on the Sea monster, a blast wave is produced that expands all over the place. It is known that the blast wave is extremely powerful that can bring rain to crushing halt.
