Song Joong Ki Taking a Break Soon to Focus on His Personal Life Including Song Hye-Kyo?

Song Joong Ki rose to fame in the 2010 historical drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" and in the 2016 pan-Asia popular drama "Descendants of the Sun." In 2013, he placed seventh in Forbes Korea Power Celebrity and significantly ranked second this year. There have been speculations that he has been dating fellow South Korean actor Park Bo-gum, who gained recognition in his role in the 2016 drama "Love in the Moonlight." However, fans got confused when recent reports suggest that he is now dating another South Korean actress Song Hye-kyo.

Reports suggest that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye-kyo could be possibly dating as they have been seen together following their breakthrough in "Descendants of the Sun." Sources say that the "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" actor has ended his relationship with Park but has maintained their friendship and remain close to each other. The actor is reportedly taking a break and won't accept any projects for now but it appears that he will be one of the casts in the JTBC drama "Man to Man."

Celebeat reports that Song Joong Ki will appear in "Man to Man" episode 9, which is scheduled to air next week. It is said that the actor's cameo appearance is because of his connection with the writer of the drama "Descendants of the Sun" Kim Won Seok. It can be recalled that the actor previously stated that he needs to take a break and wants to spend some time on other things.

"That's why, this year I've briefly stepped away from work and want to try and spend some time just as Song Joong Ki in his thirties," the actor told a Korean Magazine. Following his statement that he wants to focus first on his personal life, many fans speculated that one of these is his growing relationship with Song Hye-kyo. There were reports claiming that they have been dating since they worked together in a Dominos commercial.
