South Korean actor Song Joong Ki is best known for his lead role in the critically acclaimed 2016 pan-Asia hit drama "Descendants of the Sun," which established him as a top Hallyu star in South Korea. He took this lead role after his mandatory military service and has made headlines all over the world because of his success in the popular drama. In the early days, he rose to fame in his role in 2010 historical drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal." Recently, there have been speculations that he is dating co-star Song Hye-kyo following his alleged special connection with "Love in the Moonlight" star Park Bo-gum.

Earlier reports from Celebeat suggest that Song Joong Ki and his "Descendants of the Sun" co-star Song Hye-kyo have started dating when they both starred in the popular pan-Asia drama. Other reports suggest that both will be reunited again in New York City to spend some time together. They were previously spotted in the Big Apple looking sweet at each other and appear to be inseparable.
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye-kyo both ruled out these claims but some fans said that their sweetness at each other is undeniable. Because of this, many fans believe that he has ended his special relationship with Park Bo-gum. Theories have it that although they are no longer together, the "Descendants of the Sun" actor maintains his friendship with Bo-gum.

Recent reports also suggest that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye-kyo are going through some relationship issues. A few days ago, Hye-kyo showed up with her shorter hairstyle, leading fans to believe that they might be having problems. However, the actor said that he wants to take a break from the spotlight and focus on his personal life.

"That's why, this year I've briefly stepped away from work and want to try and spend some time just as Song Joong Ki in his thirties," he told a Korean Magazine. Fans believe that Song Hye-kyo is included in his plans to focus on his personal life especially that they might be having relationship issues at the moment.
