"This is Us" Season 2 spoilers reveal that the tears will keep coming when the hit NBC drama returns on TV. According to Elle, Mandy Moore, who plays Rebecca in the series, promised viewers that the show will feature more moving stories about the characters.

As if the first season was not emotional enough, "This is Us" Season 2 promises to make fans cry. This may have something to do with the fact that the second season will finally reveal the reason behind Jack's death.

While many fans were expecting to learn about Jack's death in the first season, Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown teased that this will be unveiled on "This is Us" Season 2. Brown shared that not only will viewers learn about the reason, but they will also see it with their very own eyes.

Randall and Beth's backstory may also be shown on "This is Us" Season 2. Brown hoped that their relationship and how it bloomed will be explored further in the new season.

Meanwhile, Variety notes that "This is Us" Season 2 will have a new time slot from Tuesdays to Thursdays. This is part of NBC's programming strategy for "redoing Thursday nights."

"This is Us" Season 2 may also feature a Christmas special given the interruptions that it will get following its move to Thursday nights. The show will face breaks to give way to NFL games and Olympics.
