The first action-packed trailer for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 has just been dropped and fans have immediately started speculating on what to expect when the series returns to HBO this July. But is it possible that the teaser has somehow debunked an old theory that Cersei Lannister will find an ally in Euron Greyjoy? There are speculations that Cersei herself confirmed that the Iron King has no plans of forging an alliance with the new Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and actually wants the Iron Throne for himself.

In the sixth season, Pilou Asbaek was introduced as Euron Greyjoy, who wasted no time in killing his brother Balon, being declared the Iron King then calling for the deaths of Yara and Theon. Although Euron has initially intended to form an alliance with Daenerys Targaryen, he has been beaten to the punch by his niece and nephew who are now sailing with most of the Iron Fleet with Dany and her dragons. This immediately led to speculations that the villain will head off to King's Landing to become an ally of Cersei Lannister in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. However, it looks like the show's first trailer has revealed that Cersei will consider him an "enemy to the West."

The first trailer for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 opens with Cersei Lannister enumerating the several foes she will be up against (via YouTube). Interestingly, when Cersei mentions she has "enemies to the West", a great ship with the Kraken sigil is shown.

Many believe that this could be one of the several ships procured by Yara and Theon Greyjoy, as per io9. However, some fans think that the scary-looking ship with the somber sails is actually Silence, Euron Greyjoy's infamous vessel with the mute crew. Does this mean that Euron has every intention to take the Iron Throne for himself? Find out when "Game of Thrones" Season 7 premieres on July 16.
