Lee Min Ho Won't Star in 'The Heirs' Season 2 Due to His Mandatory Military Service?

South Korean actor Lee Min Ho has entered his mandatory military service on May 12 and theories have it that he and actress Park Shin Hye won't be part of "The Heirs" season 2, which is expected to his the small screens this year. Both stars have been widely popular among KPop fans and all of them were disappointed with these speculations. It is said that they will be replaced by "Descendants of the Sun" stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo. Many fans believe that there will be no other stars who can replace them as they have shown great chemistry on-screen.

Reports say that since Lee Min Ho has started his mandatory military service, it only means that the infamous actor would be extremely busy and won't be able to take part in the filming of "The Heirs" season 2. As for Park Shin Hye, it is said that she is also busy with her other projects including her celebrity product endorsements. Thus, many fans suggest that both won't be able to star in the immensely popular South Korean TV series.

Lee Min Ho has attracted a lot of fans since he first starred in 2009 South Korean drama "Boys Over Flowers" as Gu Jun-pyo which earned him a Best New Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards. In fact, his overwhelming fanbase resulted in some of her women fans naming their kids Gu Jun-pyo. In Asia, he has been one of the most hot-topics South Korean actor among fans who are following his roles in different TV projects including "City Hunter," "The Legend of the Blue Sea," among others.

That said, many fans are hoping to see Lee Min Ho in the event that "The Heirs" season 2 happens. Another report also claims that the next installment would still happen even without him and Park Shin Hye. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are set to replace them and their fans are thrilled with this news as they know how great these two stars are on-screen.
