Song Joong Ki Ready To Give Up Career For Love, 'Battleship Island' Actor To Marry Song Hye Kyo Before ‘Descendants of the Sun 2’?

Song Joong Ki is definitely one of the most sought after South Korean actors to date. With projects falling on his lap nonstop, it seems that the "Descendants Of The Sun" actor is now ready for a break to focus more on much important things. Is he turning down projects to focus on his alleged relationship with Song Hye Kyo?

Speaking to W Korea magazine, Song Joong Ki revealed that having a successful career is not his main priority. The 31-year-old actor told the publication that he he likes taking breaks in between jobs to put more attention to his personal life rather than being flooded with projects after projects.

"I've always spent my life as if I was pressed for time ever since I debuted, [with the mindset of] taking on another production as soon as I finished one," the "Descendants Of The Sun" actor shared to the mag, as per Soompi. "That's why, this year I've briefly stepped away from work and want to try and spend some time just as Song Joong Ki in his thirties."

Since Song Joong Ki is mainly linked to Song Hye Kyo, many wondered if the actor's time out is a result of him wanting to spend more time with his "Descendants Of The Sun" co-star. The duo have been fighting off dating rumors for quite awhile now. Their undeniable chemistry on the mega-successful 2016 South Korean television series was so intense that many believed that they may have already took their on-screen romance to off-screen.

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have always remained tight-lipped regarding their alleged romance. But the actor is not making it any easier for the two as he just recently revealed of wanting to build a family, sparking rumors that wedding bells may be ringing for the "Descendants Of The Sun" co-stars.
