There's just a few weeks remaining until "Game of Thrones" season 7 returns to HBO and there have been a lot of theories and speculations making their way online about the possible events to happen next season. Recent reports also suggest that season 8 might not air until 2019. What's more interesting is that season 7 will see Arya Stark resuming her ultimate revenge for her family. It can be recalled that she slit Walder Frey's throat in season 6 but whoever her next target remains to be seen.

Entertainment Weekly published a photo of "Game of Thrones" featuring the Stark siblings, which sparks speculations that Sansa, Bran, Jon Snow and Arya will finally reunite next season. Fans noticed Needle being strapped to Arya's hip, which is not a surprise as this is the weapon that her half-brother Jon gave her. However, another weapon that excites a lot of fans is the Valyrian steel dagger in Arya's possession.

"Game of Thrones" fans can recall that this was the same dagger used before in an attempt to kill Bran in season 1 and everyone knows that this was in Petyr Baelish or Littlefinger's possession. However, the latest photo reveals that Arya already has it. That said, many fans believe that Littlefinger is Arya's next target.

Meanwhile, HBO programming chief Casey Bloys recently said that "Game of Thrones" season 8 will possibly air in 2019 instead of the initial possible release in 2018. Bloys explained that showrunners have to figure out the schedule of production and the writers have yet to start working on the episodes. "We'll have a better sense of that once they get further into the writing," he told EW.

That said, many "Game of Thrones" fans are disappointed that they will have to wait at least two more years before the final season of the HBO's fantasy series premieres. As the Verge points out, it's obvious that it would be the time for fans to keep things slow and to chill out. After all, "Winter is Coming."
