'NCIS' Actor Michael Weatherly Says His Reunion With Cote De Pablo in the Show Is Possible!

Michael Weatherly left "NCIS" in 2016 after 13 seasons of portraying his role in the series as Special Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo. His role wasn't received as generally positive by female audiences at first because of being chauvinistic, but when he tried to tone it down, his character was welcomed better. When it was officially confirmed that he is leaving the show, many fans were saddened by this and most of them are still hoping that he would make a comeback one day. Recently, the actor himself said that it's always possible to return to the show and reunite with Cote de Pablo.

Michael Weatherly told Digital Spy that he would "never say never" to the idea of making a comeback in the CBS police procedural series including a possible reunion with de Pablo. He went on to say that his character can always come out again with other characters in the show and he is willing to do it again at the right time. "I would never say! Whether or not it's in "Bull" or in some other iteration of an "NCIS," I would say there's always the chance of [me reuniting with Cote].

The "NCIS" actor went on to say that de Pablo is one of his favorite people, especially that they have a great chemistry together as Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David. It can be recalled when Ziva got killed in Israel after a mortar attack and DiNozzo found out that they have a living daughter together. He decided to quit his job for his daughter, Blasting News shared.

According to Celebeat, de Pablo's exit from "NCIS" caused Weatherly's departure from the show as well. However, many fans are still hoping until now that both stars will soon reunite on the show especially that David's body was never recovered. No one actually knows.
