The Belfast Strangler may be gone but that hasn't stopped "The Fall" fans for hoping that they haven't seen the last of Paul Spector. One particular person who is upset over the serial killer's death is none other than Jamie Dornan himself. The "Fifty Shades Freed" star has already admitted that he is somehow upset that he will not be back in "The Fall" Series 4. Is Dornan still hoping for a major TV comeback in the future?

It's no secret that "The Fall" Series 4 will still happen even without Jamie Dornan. CeleBeat has previously reported that creator Allan Cubitt confirmed that Paul Spector is gone for good after the third season but he still wants to revisit Stella Gibson in the future. "I don't think I'm giving much away in saying it's Jamie's last season, but that's not to say that we wouldn't do more of 'The Fall'," Cubitt declared. Needless to say, Dornan is unhappy about the death of his villainous character.

According to Express, Jamie Dornan admitted to "a little bit of devastation" when Paul Spector was killed off at the end of Season 3. "It's a job that means a lot to me, and a character that I really love playing, and a group of people that have become family over four and a half years, so it's very bittersweet,” the "Fifty Shades Freed" actor stated. Fans have since speculated that Dornan might be planning to return to TV soon, but not in "The Fall" Series 4.

There is no confirmation yet on whether Jamie Dornan will be back in a new TV show since he is still working on "Robin Hood: Origins". In addition to that, Alan Cubitt has not announced when he and Gillian Anderson will begin production on "The Fall" Series 4. Nevertheless, Dornan's fans can expect to see more of the actor as Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades Freed", which premieres in February 2018.
