During an interview with Digital Spy to promote his new series "Bull," Weatherly hinted that it's highly possible that he will reunite with Cote de Pablo in "NCIS." "I would never say! I would say there's always the chance of [me reuniting with Cote]," he said. He further said that they both shared great chemistry on-screen and that she is one of his favorite people. Upon learning this, fans rally behind him and said that they can't wait to see the two stars again in the show.

When Celebeat reported that Weatherly and de Pablo might reunite in "NCIS," many fans posted on social media and even shared their thoughts on Celebeat's news platform about the two stars return. Most of them said that the show is never the same without Weatherly and de Pablo. "I would love to see them both back on [the show] with the rest of the team. I miss the banter between Tony and Ziva, the impressions of great actors by Tony and the comedy between De Nozzo and Magee," one fan wrote. "I am in England and really enjoy watching the programme."

De Pablo's Ziva David was killed during a mortar attack in Israel in "NCIS" season 11 but her body was never found. When DiNozzo found out, he decided to quit his job to take care of their daughter. Weatherly previously admitted that it was de Pablo's exit from the show that led him to leave as well. He also said that he wants to branch out professionally.

"NCIS" season 15 returns on CBS on Sept. 26 and fans can always look forward to seeing Weatherly and de Pablo again in the show. We actually never know! Stay tuned!
