Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga may not be as buddy-buddy as they appear.

On previews for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Giudice and Gorga appear to have put their drama aside. However, according to a source, their reunion is all for the show.

“Teresa and Melissa aren’t friends, not even close,” an insider revealed to Radar Online on July 10. “The only time they talk to each other or interact is when filming Housewives, or promoting it.”

During the fifth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, fans watched as the feud between the Giudices and the Gorgas reached an all-time high, with Joe Giudice, Teresa's husband, and Joe Gorga, Melissa's husband, engaging in physical altercation. Things had been tense between the two couples since the Gorgas joined the show during season three, but they hadn't gone to a physical place until season five.

“They both decided the arguing on camera had to stop because it made them both look really bad,” the source added.

Following the altercation, the Giudices and the Gorgas attended therapy in hopes of getting their relationship back on track, and ahead of filming on season six, they seemed to be in a good place. Giudice and Gorga were even seen attending their daughters' cheerleading event together.

However, the Radar source claimed that the pair are on the outs -- and that Giudice's relationship with brother Joe Gorga hasn't improved.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres on Sunday night at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
