Michelle Obama Candid Wedding Photo Hits Pinterest [PHOTO]

First Lady Michelle Obama has jumped on the Pinterest bandwagon! With 18 pins on three different boards, the mom of two has been picking up followers left and right with pins showing not only what is going on currently in her life, but also her past.

Generally run by the Obama 2012 campaign staff, the First Lady's direct pins are signed "-mo." Although this specific pin uploaded five days ago wasn't put up by Michelle Obama directly, it is a photo that is catching a lot of people's eyes. The photo shows Michelle and Barack Obama on their wedding day on October 3, 1992.

The candid black and white shot of the couple show the young Barack Obama in his tux with a big grin on his face. Michelle Obama has her hair swooped back into what looks like a low bun, with a long veil billowing down her back. Her dress is an off-the-shoulder sleeve gown with a sweetheart neckline. The First Lady is also wearing drop earrings to compliment, but not pull eyes away from her beautiful dress.

The close-up photo doesn't show Michelle's train, or the floral appliqué embellishments on it, but LightInTheBox.com has more photos of the Obama's on their wedding day.

Michelle and Barack met in the summer of 1989 when Michelle, who had just finished her first year as an associate at Sidley & Austin law firm in Chicago, was assigned to mentor Barack, a summer associate.

"He sounded too good to be true," Michelle had told author of "Obama: From Promise To Power," David Mendell. Barack, a Harvard Law student had entered the firm with a lot of hype surrounding him. "I had dated a lot of brothers who had this kind of reputation coming in, so I figured he was one of these smooth brothers who could talk straight and impress people. So we had lunch, and he had this bad sport jacket and cigarette dangling from his mouth, and I thought: 'Oh here you go. Here's this good-looking, smooth-talking guy. I've been down this road before."

Turns out Michelle was going down a different road, because the pair married just a couple years later on October 3, 1992.
