When Johnny Depp announced his split from longtime partner Vanessa Paradis last week, rumors swirled that the break was due to another woman. The woman in question was his younger "Rum Diaries" co-star Amber Heard.

Depp, 49, has reportedly received many visits to "The Lone Ranger" set from Heard, 26. Further fueling rumors of their relationship are private plane trips and a reported gift of a horse.

According to a source on Perez Hilton, Depp is absolutely "smitten" with his former co-star. "They started sleeping together during the ["Rum Diary"] press tour," continued the insider.

If Johnny Depp is indeed "smitten" with Heard, then he is in luck! According to numerous reports, the bi-sexual actress has split from her artists girlfriend Tasya van Ree. This relationship wasn't just any old fling either. The pair began dating in 2008 when Heard came out at GLAAD's 25th anniversary shindig.

While Tasya van Ree's feelings on their split has yet to be reported, a source told Perez Hilton that Depp's ex of 14 years is pretty upset (as she should be). The source claims that Vanessa Paradis screamed at her ex-lover, "If I see her, I'll drown her."
