Emily Maynard And Jef Holm Are Engaged

Emily Maynard is officially off the market. After last night's "Bachelorette" her good news is headline news; Maynard and Jef Holmes are set to get hitched.

Maynard's final decision wasn't an easy one. Her strong feelings for both Holmes, her future husband, and the runner up in the race for her heart Arie Luyendyk, Jr. made the choice tough, but not impossible. In the end, in fact, she didn't even take all the time given to her to make her decision. Maynard scrapped her final date with Luyendyk after she realized she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Holmes.

Marrying Holmes will create a family of three for Maynard who has a seven-year-old daughter named Ricki.The trio are already getting use to the new family dynamics and loving it; while "Bachelorette" fans have only just learned of their happy news Maynord, Holmes and Ricki are already living together. Holmes described their new life together saying, ""Ricki is Emily's universe and she is very quickly becoming my own too. It's way more than I expected and better. It's so much fun. We just fit perfectly together, I love her."
