Kate Hudson has landed in Venice for the 69th International Film Festival to promote her latest flick "The Reluctant Fundamentalist," which also stars Kiefer Sutherland and Liev Schreiber.

The blonde beauty looked casual chic in a brown romper, high heels and cool aviator shades. Husband Matt Belamy and sons Ryder and Bingham were noticeably absent.

We expect more sartorial gems from Hudson as the festival is slated to end Sept.8.

The vivacious actress, who has worked with Ann Taylor in the past, isn't quite through with the brand as she is poised to appear in their Fall 2012 ad campaign.

"Fall is always my favorite season. I love layers and Ann Taylor is really going for more color and prints and fashion and stepping out of the box for their company," she told WWD magazine.

"Sometimes when you work with big brands, you feel they have a very specific formula and I think Ann Taylor goes further with it....Ann Taylor isn't afraid of a little sexiness. I think it's about a working woman who can own her own sensuality."

Hudson, who comes from Hollywood royalty (Goldie Hawn), is a veteran when dealing with the paparazzi, over the years she has learned to laugh about their crazy antics.

"I'll sit down with a girlfriend who's also an actress, and we'll go 'Oh, you were making out with him too? The same day? Weird!' It is literally a joke. There was one week I was linked to four different guys, two of whom I've probably never met," she mused during an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine.

However, she does admit "a couple of the gossip sites get it right," on occasion. "But then they elaborate on it and make it their own soap opera. It's strange."
