Season two of "The X Factor" is already two weeks in, yet the televised singing show is missing one key thing...a host! While rumors have been swirling around who would tackle the position, it appears that that a decision has already been made.

Perezhilton.com reported on Wednesday that "The X Factor" will have not one host...but two! Sources revealed to the gossip site that frontrunner Khloe Kardashian will be hosting alongside former "Saved By The Bell" actor Mario Lopez.

Khloe Kardashian named as a host does not come as much of a surprise. Judge Simon Cowell recently told Ellen Degeneres on her talk show that, "I know whom I would like, but now I have to get it approved by the network." Cowell continued, "We have screen-tested a load of people...It could be a Kardashian. I think that would work."

Although no official announcement has been made yet, sources state that the pair are "locked in to host." Kardashian's new gig seems to pose a problem with E! though. According to TMZ, the whole Kardashian family has an exclusivity contract with the network, forcing them to get permission before signing onto any new projects.

While it's reported that E! does not have a problem with Kardashian working on Simon Cowell's show, they do have a problem with how much time it will consume. TMZ reports that E! is worried over interviews, social media and appearances for "The X Factor," fearing that it will not only impact her reality show, but create time conflicts as well. Sources close to the family believe that the deal will go through, but after some serious negotiations. If the deal does not go through with Kardashian, "High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu is reportedly "waiting in the wings."

As for second host Mario Lopez, "The X Factor" is far from his first hosting gig. Lopez has not only been hosting entertainment news show "Extra," but has also been the host of "America's Best Dance Crew" since 2008.

"X Factor" fans shouldn't count on the rumored hosts to be running out on stage alongside new season two judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato anytime soon. The hosts aren't expected to make an appearance on the show for another few weeks. Auditions, boot camp and judges' houses rounds are still to be completed before "The X Factor" begins their live shows. Viewers can expect the hosts to make their first on air appearance when the live shows kick off on Nov. 1.
