Megan Fox And Brian Austin Green Welcome Baby Boy; What Is His Name?

Megan Fox is now a mom! The "Transformers" actress and her "90210" husband Brian Austin Green welcomed their first son together on Sept. 27.

Fox, 26, took to her Facebook page on Wednesday to make the exciting announcement about her growing family.

"We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do," the actress posted on her Facebook.  "I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy and perfect."

According to ThinkBabyNames.com, Noah is of Hebrew origin and means "peaceful." Other meanings associated with the name include "long-lived," "comforter" or "wanderer." The name is currently ranked 458 out of 1220 popular names for boys on the site.

Fox and Green, 39, were married on a beach in Hawaii on June 24, 2010. People.com reported at the time that the only witness in attendance at their wedding was Green's son, Kassius, whom he shares with his ex-partner Vanessa Marcil.

Fox kept a relatively low profile after announcing her pregnancy in June. The new mom continued on her Facebook page that, "We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love. "

"Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes," Fox concluded. "May God bless you and your families abundantly."
