‘Vampire Diaries’ Stars Ian Somerhalder And Nina Dobrev Spending The Holidays Together

It appears that "Vampire Diaries" stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will be sharing a kiss beneath the mistletoe this year! A source revealed to PerezHilton.com that the duo will be spending the holidays together.

Somerhalder and Dobrev met in 2009 on the set of their hit CW show, "The Vampire Diaries," and began to date shortly after. While the pair have yet to become engaged, a source reveals that the two are "excited to celebrate the holidays together."

"It's a sign they're taking things to the next level," explained the source to Perezhilton.com. "[They live together too and] there are no obligations but work and living together - their relationship is at its best here!"

Somerhalder, 34, and Dobrev 23, were spotted in Atlanta hunting for a Christmas tree last week. But don't expect the two to stay holed up down south for the holidays.

In October Dobrev told Self Magazine that she dedicates her holidays to her family.

"Remember my roots matters to me," she told the magazine. "We were on a tight budget growing up, and my parents gave so much to get me where I am. Now, at Christmas, I rent a house in the Rockies and take my family snowboarding."

Spending time with Dobrev's family would be a fair trade for Ian Somerhalder as the two spent some time with his family around Thanksgiving.

Somerhalder and Dobrev were photographed at his family's pizza joint in Mandeville, Louisiana.  The "Vampire Diaries" star excited fans when they swing by McClain's Pizzeria to pose for some pictures and make a couple pies.
