Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen (son of Martin Sheen and brother to Emilio Estevez) was opening his bar in Cabo, El Ganzo, when he called the audience during an intro speech a "lying bunch of f**got a**holes."

TMZ has a video of the incident here.

The former "Hot Shots" star told TMZ that he "meant no ill will and intended to hurt no one and I apologize if I offended anyone" He also claims he meant to say "maggot" but has "a lisp."

A lot of A-listers were on hand for the opening, including Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. His office has issued no comment about the video because they have at least one ounce of sense. A tweet from Sheen showing him partying with the mayor that night has been removed from the star's Twitter feed.

Sheen is no stranger to controversy. He had a VERY public departure from the show that made him a multi-millionaire, 'Two And A Half Men,' during which he insulted the show's producer Chuck Lorre. He also ran into some trouble with the law in 1994 when he escaped from prison while awaiting sentencing for an armed robbery charge, and hijacked a BMW at a convenience store that belonged to Kristy Swanson. He took her hostage as well, and during the next 70 minutes or so the two fell so madly in love that Swanson hijacked a police helicopter to help him escape into Mexico.

Oh, wait. That was the plot of 'The Chase.' Sorry.
