'General Hospital' News: Jason Thompson Discusses Patrick's Love Life

Jason Thompson has sounded off about the direction of Patrick on General Hospital.

Thompson spoiled what was next to come for the Port Charles doctor in an interview with On Air Soaps published Tuesday. For the past few months, Robin Scorpio's widow has been romancing Sabrina. Their relationship hit a snag when Britt claimed to be pregnant with his child, but the paternity of her child has been in question.

"Personally, I feel very frustrated with Felix and Sabrina running around trying to do all this stuff to prove he is not the father, and at the end of the day, it's none of their business.  I bite my tongue every time these scenes happen," Thompson said.

Thompson also addressed the emotional lull that his storyline has taken. He was in the thick of heavy drama when his character's on screen wife was presumed dead. Since then, his storyline has not had the same resonance.

"When there was all that heavy material, it still feels wonderful, as an actor, to go there, and to those places.  It is a really great release.  For me, of course, you always want to do that caliber of work," he said.

Thompson also implied that he was not happy with the state of his current storyline. He has opted not to watch it unfold on screen.

"I have not watched air shows of GH in a while.  I just don't want to watch, because then I see the other stuff that is going on in the storylines and then it colors something different for me, and then I will look at a character differently," he said.
