'General Hospital' News: Jeffrey Vincent Parise Joines as Carlos, Man From Sabrina's Past

Jeffrey Vincent Parise will be joining General Hospital this fall, Access Hollywood reported Wednesday.

Parise will play a man named Carlos who has a past with Sabrina. He is expected to serve as another spoiler between the nurse and her love interest, Patrick. Carlos may also have ties to the mob and is expected to begin airing in mid September.

The casting news comes on the heels of Kimberly McCullough returning to GH as Robin Scorpio, Patrick's not so dead wife. Patrick moved on with Sabrina after Robin was presumed dead.

McCullough originated the role of the beloved character in 1985 at the age of 6. She left the show periodically over the years but came back full time in 2004. She left the role again in February 2012 when her character was presumed dead when she left to pursue a directing career. The actress has now signed a contract to resume the role that broke barriers.

"Robin is such an important part of the history of GENERAL HOSPITAL. It will be so wonderful to see her come back and what that effect will have on the canvas," GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini said.
