Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam Cast as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey Film

After a long search, E.L. James has finally found the perfect person... make that people! She found the perfect people to play Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey Film.

"Good moaning all. Hold on to your hats..." James tweeted on Monday, Sept. 2. "I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey."

"So... Christian..." she said afterwards. "The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey."

A source told Us Weekly that the 23-year-old actress is very happy about her new role.

"She had several meetings with the producers and with E.L. James. They loved her for the role," a source revealed to Us Weekly. "She's been in New York filming with Cymbeline with Ethan Hawke, and just wrapped Need For Speed with Aaron Paul. She was thrilled to be in the running and is very excited for the role."

Hunnam is the star of the upcoming drama series Sons of Anarchy. He is also the star of the sci-fi film Pacific Rim.  On the other hand, Johnson is a former model and the star of the ended series of Ben and Kate. She is also the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.
