Cher has backtracked from her criticism of Miley Cyrus, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.

Cher was critical Cyrus and her controversial MTV Video Music Awards performance. She panned both but amended her statements on Twitter.

Earlier in the day, Cher was more forthcoming in her opinion. Cher took the twerking queen to task for not keeping the audience properly entertained.
"She could have come out naked, and if she'd just rocked the house, I would have said, 'You go, girl,'" she said. "It just wasn't done well. She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great, one cheek was hanging out."
