Lady Gaga released the artwork to her third studio album, ARTPOP, MTV News reported.

On Monday, Gaga took to Twitter and fed the anticipation of her fans who are known as monsters. She tweeted the imagery that will accompany her third disc. She is immortalized in statuesque form by Jeff Koons and there is a glassy, blue ball in between her legs.

Gaga tweeted her appreciation for the artwork. She said that their collobatartion was her vision depicted through him. She asked that fans show him similar affection.

Curator and Koons scholar Lynne Warren told MTV News that the cover art would be remembered for a long time to come.
"Jeff seems to have really good senses to choose people who are not only at the height of their careers, but are going to be iconic," Warren said. "They won't be remembered just because he made art out of them, they will be remembered on for their own contributions. He must feel like Lady Gaga is not going to be a flash in the pan."
