Kelly Clarkson announced that she was pregnant last week and it certainly made headlines. She showed off the tiniest baby bump during an interview on the Today show on Nov. 26.

In her first guest appearance after announcing her pregnancy, she revealed that her first trimester has been exciting at the same time difficult.

"I don't know why they call it morning sickness because it's like all day and all night," the singer told Savannah Guthrie on the Today show. "I'm super excited about being pregnant, I'm just looking forward to the second trimester - they say it's better!"

She also mentioned that the reason she cancelled some of her appearance was not because she was lazy. "There's a reason why I canceled appearances, because I was ill (morning sickness)," the 31-year-old said.

Hollywood Life reported that the wife of Brandon Blackstock said that they have decided the name of the baby even if they still don't know the gender of the baby. "I'm way too early in my pregnancy to know gender, but I have a name for girl and boy, very prepared," Clarkson explained. She said that she has a "gut feeling" that it will be a girl.

Even though Mrs. Blackstock is still in her early months of pregnancy, many people are already curious on how she will lose the baby weight.

"Everybody calls me fat all the time, so I can't wait to have a reason, instead of everybody just being a jerk!" she said.
