Former Malcolm in The Middle star Frankie Muniz has suffered another stroke following his first one only a year ago.

27-year-old actor tweeted that he was miserable after another health scare.

"Almost a year to the day, I experienced another mini stroke. Hopefully that will be the last. Miserable," he tweeted.

His initial stroke was on December 2012, Star Pulse reported. He also told Good Morning America of the scary experience.

"I couldn't say words," he said. "I thought I was saying them! My fiancee was looking at me like I was speaking a foreign language.

"I'm still trying to make sense of it, but happy I'm alive," he added.

Muniz has been engaged to publicist Elycia Marie Turnbow since October 2011.

A mini-stroke is a "transient ischemic attack (TIA) - a temporary interruption of blood flow to part of the brain, spinal cord or retina," according to the Mayo Clinic.

Here are the symptoms of a TIA according to WebMD:

  • Sudden numbness, tingling, weakness, or loss of movement in your face, arm, or leg, especially on only one side of your body.
  • Sudden vision changes.
  • Sudden trouble speaking.
  • Sudden confusion or trouble understanding simple statements.
  • Sudden problems with walking or balance.
  • A sudden, severe headache that is different from past headaches.
