Khloe Kardashian may have just filed for divorce following months of speculation about husband's Lamar Odom's infidelities and drug use, but the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is staying positive ahead of the new year.

In a new interview, Kardashian is opening up about moving on from her split and revealing how she feels about weight loss and plastic surgery.

"I need a good fresh start," Kardashian told the UK's Cosmopolitan in their February issue. "I'm excited for this year to be over with."

"I don't regret anything about my life," she explains. "My life has made me who I am at this moment, and I'm very happy with who I am. No matter if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly, it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things."

One way Kardashian has been dealing with the recent stresses in her life is through exercise, and as a result, she's lost a substantial amount of weight. However, she's not quite at her goal.

"In the past year, I think I've lost around 30 lbs., and I'm feeling good," she said. "I've worked very hard on my body, so I think now I can sex it up a little! My 2014 mission is to wear a crop top with jeans. I've never done that, so it has to happen one day."

While many celebrities opt for plastic surgery or extreme diets when trying to lose weight, Kardashian has opted to do things the old-fashioned way -- even after hearing criticism about her face from her own mother.

"She didn't mean harm, but when I was around 9, I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job," Kardashian revealed. "I was shocked. I hadn't even thought about it. I've grown into my face, but I've had makeup artists tell me, 'You should get a nose job.' I'm so happy that I never have."

Still, Kardashian isn't ruling out plastic surgery completely.

"I'm proud for losing weight when I wanted to, and I've never resorted to surgery. I'm not against it. One day I probably will, but it would be on my terms."
