Will Kailyn Lowry To Reunite With Her Mother On 'Teen Mom 2?'

Kailyn Lowry and her mother have had a strained relationship ever since fans first met them on 16 & Pregnant. In fact, their relationship was so strained that Kailyn opted to cut ties with her mother, who reportedly struggles with addiction during a recent season of Teen Mom 2. However, with new seasons come new drama and during the upcoming season five, the pair allegedly hatch a plan to reconcile. 

"She called Kailyn while sober once, so Kailyn gave her a chance," a source recently revealed to OK! Magazine. But unfortunately, the good vibes quickly came to a halt and reality set in for Kailyn and her entire family.

"The mom and her boyfriend got messed up, and called Kailyn and her husband Javi, talking all kinds of stuff," the source explained. "He called Javi a jerk off!"

In the end, Kailyn realized that her mother simply hasn't changed and right now, that means she will continue to keep her distance. "Kailyn won't let her mom into her kid's life until she's sober," the source added.

On Teen Mom 2, Kailyn and her mother have been up and down and at one point, Kailyn was seen calling her and realizing that her number been blocked. Her mother was also seen kicking her out of her home just after she gave birth to son Isaac.

Teen Mom 2 returns for season five on Jan. 21.
