Amanda Bynes is getting a fresh start in 2014. After being plagued with legal issues as well as mental health problems in recent years, the former child star is focusing on the future and staying healthy.

Once she was released, Amanda moved back in with her parents who live in Thousand Oaks, Calif. and has since been seen walking around their neighborhood and doing tons of shopping. Last week, she was seen withher mother Lynn at Urban Outfitters.

"She came in on Dec. 28 and bought a bunch of men's graphic T-shirts," an eyewitness told Life & Style. "She bought almost one of each kind in the store. They range in price from $24 to $32. She seemed to like most of them and was very quiet and low key while she shopped with her mom [Lynn]."

After Amanda was released from treatment, following a 5150 hold, she spoke out, claiming that she was doing great.

"I am doing very well," Amanda told Life & Style on Dec. 3. "I'm doing great, it's been five days since I got out of rehab."

One week later, Amanda was spotted out during another shopping excursion. "She looks great!" an observer told In Touch at the time. "She looks healthy and was very polite and friendly. She spent about $100."

Now that Amanda has completed treatment, she's looking forward to her future, and according to her mother's lawyer, that means heading back to college. He recently told press that Amanda was currently visiting "various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design."

"Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing," he added. "She's very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."
