'The Bachelor' Star Juan Pablo Galavis On What He Wants In A Woman

Juan Pablo Galavis has recently embarked on his journey to find love on ABC's The Bachelor. And while he has been gifted with a gorgeous array of women to choose from, he went in knowing what he wanted -- and it wasn't all about looks.

In a new interview with the Miami Herald, Juan spoke out about what he wants, and hopes to find, in a woman.

"A woman that is smart, that is honest, that likes sports. Also somebody that knows how to dance, because I love dancing," he said. "That's one of my biggest turn-ons, like, I fall in love with that."

As for what he doesn't want in his lady, Juan explained, "Somebody that doesn't eat. I like food a lot. So I know I don't want to [hear]: 'I don't like sushi, I don't like this, I don't like that.' I like to eat a lot. So if you don't like to eat, you're kind of screwed because I like food."

Another deal breaker for Juan would be a woman who isn't understanding when it comes to his duties as a father.  "Obviously my daughter's my priority, so if you want to have plans with me and then my daughter calls, then I'm going to have to go with her."

Although Juan certainly has several things he's looking for, one thing he isn't set on is his location. Juan currently resides in Miami, but if someone were to come along and need him to move, he wouldn't hesitate.

"I don't like Miami that much. I don't like the weather," he admits. "My base is Miami, but I travel a lot. I definitely I want somebody very independent, career wise."

The Bachelor airs Mondays on ABC at 8 p.m.
