Emma Roberts And Evan Peters Are Engaged

Emma Roberts and Evan Peters are reportedly engaged. The 26-year-old actor reportedly asked the question to Roberts over the holidays in New York City, confirmed by People.

Extra TV was the first to break the news and reported that Peters proposed with a pink, gold and diamond ring.  Representatives from both celebrities have not made any comment yet over the reports, stating: "We are not commenting or confirming."

 Even though both actors have not announced anything, the actress was spotted wearing what seemed to be an engagement ring when the couple was seen in New Orleans on Sunday, Jan. 4, according to E! News.

A tweet from their close friend, Tyler Shields, seemed to confirmed the engagement rumors. The photographer tweeted: Congrats to @RobertsEmma and Evan Peters for getting Engaged this was the moment I knew he really loved her!

The two have been dating for more than a year, however, it was not always a smooth sailing relationship. Six months ago, the actress was arrested for domestic violence against her boyfriend.  The reps for both actors said that the incident was "unfortunate" and it was all a "misunderstanding."

"Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it," Robert's rep added.

The two first met on the set of film Adult World, where Peters played the role of the manager of an adult-video store and Roberts was a struggling poet.
